What strangе claws are these scratching at my skin,

I nеver knew my killer would be coming from within.”

Dark Summer

Dark Summer explores the disconnect between what we are “supposed” to feel and what we might actually feel. It reflects the experience of living through beautiful moments while still carrying sadness, uncertainty, or emotional weight beneath the surface.

Using layered collage, worn textures, and darker visual elements, these pieces focus on memory, isolation, and the idea that you can experience beauty and heaviness at the same time. Dark Summer is for those who understand that even during the brightest season of the year, life can still feel complicated.
