I can help with personalized, one-on-one sessions designed to help you jump-start, re-energize, or complete your creative projects.
During these sessions we can:
- decide if Facebook or Instagram is better for you AND get one (or both) up and running
- work towards self-publishing your book
- brainstorm topics and create content for your blog or social media posts
- build a template to create OR launch a new series of artwork
- and much more!
Art Biz Mentorships start and end within one calendar month. This allows us to take advantage of creative momentum while giving us the best shot at immediate results.
- Mentorships include four scheduled meetings via phone or online video chat, and related follow up via e-mail for $525.
- Only one mentorship is available each month.

Why Carmen?
Aside from being a “Strange” artist, I have had the opportunity to work in the field of marketing for the past twenty years. During that time, I have provided project management, marketing services and content for printed marketing materials, social media, and websites.
My own creative projects include:
- articles and artwork published in Somerset Studio, Uppercase Magazine, Somerset Studio Gallery, Somerset Apprentice, Minnesota Women’s Press, and more
- four collage art books self-published and available on Amazon.com
- numerous original, mixed media collages and assemblages
- teaching Creative Collage workshops including Summer Camps for the Arts, “Imagination Collage” children’s workshops, and “Healing Through Art” workshops
I have completed the Springboard for the Arts “Work of Art – Artist Intensive” training and am “Art-Train” certified. I am also in a unique position to support Artists through my work as the Visual Arts Coordinator at the Holmes Art Cellar in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Carmen has most recently helped us to respond to industry-wide changes required due to COVID-19.
